This course covers safety information and practices for students planning to work or live in agricultural settings. It addresses workplace safety basics, specific safety issues on farms, and safe practices in that environment.
This course is updated to current WHMIS standards and also accredited (one credit).
The course outlines will state that this JobeSafe Program allows students to acquire fundamental knowledge of workplace health and safety principles and practices. They will be assessed on their ability to apply safety knowledge in various situations, including workplaces, school, and home. The program is administered online through a Learning Management System (LMS) and was exclusively developed by SafeGen (formerly Job Safety Skills Society).
